Robie Wilson Litchfield, ASLA
As Principal at L+P DesignWorks, Ms. Litchfield has over 25 years professional experience in the Truckee-Tahoe area. She has a BSLA from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Born in Truckee and raised on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe she has witnessed the changes and pressures that an evolving community population can bring to a region. She works hard both professionally and as a volunteer to make a lasting positive impact on her community in an effort to balance the demands of communities, developers and homeowners together with the varied aspects of the natural environment. She firmly stands on the principle that integrated landscape systems such as plant communities, hydrology, soils and defensible space can effectively, efficiently and aesthetically compliment one another through solid understanding of a project site and its surroundings. In addition, good working relationships with local agencies and related professionals not only makes for a more efficient project process but results in a better project in the end.
John P. Pruyn, ASLA
John P. Pruyn, ASLA , Principal at L+P DesignWorks has a well rounded experience in the landscape architectural profession. After graduating from Louisiana State University, with a Bachelor in Landscape Architecture, he worked for a consulting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Lake Tahoe’s west shore in 1992. John P. Pruyn and Robie Litchfield launched L+P DesignWorks in 2004 in an effort to lead with more of their own ideology and approach to landscape architecture. John has been working in the Tahoe region for over 16 years. He understands the opportunities and constraints in working in the mountain environment and is constantly looking for ways to stretch the boundaries of the practice. He has worked on everything from single family residential to parks and planned unit developments and finds that each is rewarding with the individual challenges that they bring.
Daniel Mummy, Associate ASLA
Daniel Mummy graduated with highest honors from the University of California, Davis in 2007 with a degree in Landscape Architecture and Spanish. The UC Davis Landscape Architecture Program offers a broad exposure to a variety of projects in a variety of scales. While enjoying the recreation the Sierra Nevada’s have to offer, Daniel has equally enjoyed working on the sensitive projects in the Tahoe/Truckee area. Daniel’s advanced skills in AutoCAD & computer graphics programs provide an excellent tool for expressing design intent and detailing.
